…it’s been way too long since my last blog entry.
The Teen Summer Reading Club has slammed to a close, I’ve been ordering titles for the Battle of the Books, replacing lost and damaged volumes in series fiction and manga, and working on all the lovely reports and statistics that are due. Yay…lots of fun.
So, instead of that joyousness, let’s blog about something neat, new, and interesting.
How about Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer being released on Saturday, August 2? I’ve been informed that this series is “the best,” “awesome,” and “criminal not to read.” Well, then. I should be about it.
In the meantime, you can reserve copies of Twilight, New Moon, and Eclipse for yourself, check out Stephenie Meyer’s official website, and look forward with giddy anticipation to the film adaptation of Twilight coming in December 2008 and starring Kristen Stewart (Panic Room, The Messengers) as Bella Swan, and Robert Pattinson (the Harry Potter films, Ring of the Nibelungs/Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King) as Edward Cullen.

Random fun book-to-film fact: Kristen Stewart also starred in the film adaptation of Laurie Halse Anderson’s Speak.
So keep reading, keep watching, and if you’re number 127 in the library’s queue for reserving Breaking Dawn, keep clicking…
